Simply A Masterpiece
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
The first must-see film of the year.
A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
I love this movie, everybody played a perfect part and they should never make a sequel; wait for the ending.
Brought back some childhood memories. Being a resident of NYC I can testify that this movie did not imitate life, but it actually showed what it was like. The way used to be (nad still is, in some cases). AIf you haven´t seen this masterpiece, waste no more time and watch it. I would recommend watching along with another great movie: A Bronx Tale. Watch this one afterwards though.
Great movie, really well paced, very fast,great acting, plenty of great lines and characters. I rated this film higher than I did Godfather 2, but that's because this film hits something purely subjective in me which elevates it to that higher level. I just enjoy it more, despite both films probably being among similar levels with Godfather 2 probably being better in a few different ways.
The videography is amazing. The styling and costumes are perfectly fit. Overall an amazing film
