I would directly get to the points I would like to discuss. Zach Galifianakis - this was the second instance I saw him on big screen. Before watching him here, I saw him in Hangover. For me, it was as if the actor is really like that. It took me watching, an interview of his that he was acting out everything. As the movie ran I enjoyed every instance, until Zach disclosed he had all stuff belonging to Robert. Even I wanted him to get punished. It was as if Zach has almighty's hand on his head that everything that was inflicted on him, more came onto the inflictor. I really wanted Robert to reach his wife delivery before time with cent percent wellness. If that would have happened the movie would have gained an extra point.

High-strung father-to-be Peter Highman is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay on a road trip in order to make it to his child's birth on time. Due Date is one of the most underrated Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis films i have ever seen in matter of fact i think that outside the Iron Man films Downey struggles to make some good films and that's the problem because for every Iron Man or Avengers there's always an Air America right? Well this isn't one of his worst films in my opinion the chemistry between the 2 leads is pretty good and some of the jokes do land especially the one in the Plane. The soundtrack is what you would expect from a Road Trip film and some of the cameos are quite good too for example Danny McBride. Overall i think that this film was pretty good it made me laugh and i had a great time watching it and if you liked films such as The Hangover you will definitely like Due Date as well.

Placed on a 'no fly' list after an embarrassing incident on a plane, an uptight businessman reluctantly drives across the country with the man responsible for the plane incident to be with his wife as she gives birth in this comedy from 'Hangover' trilogy director Todd Phillips. While much of the humour is lowbrow, the film has several genuinely funny moments throughout with the two leads bouncing well off one another as they go from hating each other to liking each other and back again. Neither Robert Downey Jr. nor Zach Galifianakis is in particularly great form though. While they share remarkable chemistry, both of their characters are rather hard to like with Downey being so pompous and arrogant and Galifianakis being so utterly uncouth. Furthermore, the character that Galifianakis is saddled with here is almost identical to Alan from the 'Hangover' movies, which makes it hard not to yearn to be watching one of those films instead. To the film's credit, it concludes on a magnificent high note with a couple of excellent cameos, and between the coffee drinking and Zach's dog who imitates everything that he does, the film has ample memorable bits and pieces. Whether it really works as a film about Downey learning to be more humble and Zach learning to be more socially acceptable is less certain, but 'Due Date' is an amusing enough ride while it lasts.

Peter Highman (Robert Downey, Jr.) is flying home from Atlanta to his pregnant wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) in L.A. He runs into Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) who constantly messes up his travel plans. They are both kicked off the plane when Ethan keeps saying "terrorist" and "bomb". They are now on the No Fly List. Peter's luggage and wallet remains on the plane to L.A. He reluctantly takes a ride from Ethan. This is obviously inspired by 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles'. Galifianakis is John Candy's character with more incompetence and more inappropriateness. Downey is Steve Martin's character with more anger. Director Todd Phillips is throwing everything into this. Sometimes it's insanely hilarious. They are not the same charming Candy Martin duo but they still make a fine odd couple. It is at its hiliarious best when Ethan angers Peter and the laughs are big.
