I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

Stanley Kubrickin's controversial film, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman is also an important step for the careers of the players. A married couple's psycho-sexual counterparts; a fantasy world full of seashells, and a high-tension cannabis that will finally be pierced. When Dr. William Harford (Tom Cruise) learns about the sexual pleasures that his wife has hidden up to that day, a new page filled with suspicion, horror and sexual exploits opens up in her life ... Kubrick is a game for everyone with masterful footage, he opens his eyes to the end.The 1999 Eyes Wide Shut is Stanley Kubrick's latest film which has left behind the unforgettable films of the director in many genres. Audience starring Dr. Nicole Kidman in the role of Alice Harford in the role of William 'Bill' Harford, Madison Eginton in the role of Helena Harford, Todd Field in the role of Sydney Pollack and Leslie Lowe and Nick Nightingale as Illona Ziegler with Victor Ziegler marks. In addition to being the director's latest film, Eyes Wide Shut, which is produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick, has created the most question marks in film history and also has the title of controversial film. In addition to creating the Filmin screenplay with Kubrick's Frederic Raphael, the film is actually an adaptation of the Austrian novel Arthur Schnitzler's novel Traumovelle. In the movie Kubrick protects the atmosphere created by Novella, sexuality and psychoanalytical creations are intertwined, creating a tense atmosphere in a dream analysis. This nightmare journey, which takes place with Freud's psychoanalytic thoughts in his novels of Schnitzler, is carried to a visual world in the hands of Kubrick, and the film takes a great journey through the film. In this journey, the viewer is invited into a married couple's sexual world. With this invitation, your sexuality will see the stimulating nudges of the sexuality and meet with the wild pleasures and erotic thrill that come with these nudibranches. Eyes Wide Shut is an unforgettable film that creates itself especially at the point where eroticism and tension are combined and creates a manifestation of the sex appeal in fantasy with an enormous composition. The meticulous sensitivity to Stanley Kubrick's films appears in his latest film Eyes Wide Shut. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, who starred in Filmin, made a deal with Kubrick for the film for a while, because Kubrick could not tell how long it would take for Filmin to be perfect. On top of that, Vincent D'Onofrioi, who plays Leonard Lawrence's character in Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, offered a house near Cruz and Kidman's set because a rumor began that Kubrick's perfectionist attitude would take him a long time to perfect. With the beginning of the project, Kubrick's perfectionist attitude showed itself. For example, Cruise's portrayal of Dr. As William (Bill) Harford did not get the desired effect from Kubrick on a scene from the door, Cruise portrayed the same scene 95 times and Cruise passed through the same door 95 times for a few seconds. In many such films, Kubrick's perfectionist attitude brought a film and a Guinness record. The shoots that started in the autumn of 1996 gave a film record with the longest shooting time until the end of January 1998.Stanley Kubrick has always included in the pleasure and love films he heard for classical music. A Clockwork Orange and Ludwig van Beethoven comes to mind, revealing the classical music passion in Kubrick's cinema. This same passion applies to Eyes Wide Shut. Dr. There is an access code for the mysterious party William Harford will join through his pianist friend. With this access code, partisans get together and get a 'chance' to experience the erotic tension inside. The password for entering the manor is also Fidelio. Fidelio is a Latin word and rooted in faithful words. Besides this, Fidelio is the name of the first and only opera composed by Ludwig van Beethoven in 1971. We see that a woman in the Fidelio named operative is doing her job to save her boyfriend's love and we meet her loyalty-credibility. In addition to showing Kubrick's passion for classical music through a word, we see the Requiem of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart among the Filmin soundtrack album. Requiem Bill Harford meets the audience on stage, where he finds out that 'Mysterious Woman' is dead by overdose.Eyes Wide Shut is about a married couple who both enjoys sex with one another, as well as enjoying eroticism. It was one of Filmin's most important goals to reflect this element, as the feelings in the eroticism bodies along with the nudges and fantasies of Bill Harford and Alice Harford couple were the most provocative elements. For this, Kubrick followed two different methods for two different desire reflections. These were the sex scenes of Harford's married couple. In order to reflect the monogamy and privacy of this sex scene, Kubrick worked in the set off the set and even pulled the players in their natural state without noticing that the camera recorded it. It was the scene where Alice, who was the second junkie, set up a fantasy she liked with another man. Tom Cruise was removed from the set for the shooting of this scene and even Kubrick was banned from entering the set. Along with this ban, Nicole Kidman has taken sex scenes with a male model in 50 different positions. Kubrick also banned Kidman from telling Cruise at the same time about the shootings and what happened. In this uncertainty, Cruise's envy toward Kidman was used as a major thriller in Kubrick's film.Eyes Wide Shut film Freudian made some changes and additions in the Kubrick scenario, while Arthur Schnitzler, a psychoanalytical mentality, adapted from cinematographer Traumnovelle. Among these attachments is the mirror scene in the film, one of the biggest problematic scenes for viewers. This scene, which can be read through Lacan's Theory of Mirror, takes place in cinema history as an unknown of Kubrick's genius. Yet another important feature of this scene is another phenomenon. This scene in front of Mirror of Crucifixion and Cruise appeared in front of the audience with 90 minutes in the filmin trailer and 90 seconds in the trailer hit the scene of influence and under the influence of the audience they encountered a big shock in the film because this scene is only 20 seconds in the film. This manipulation created by Kubrick on the audience and this little game that he plays has created a distinction between what appears in the mirror scene and the invisible, and the secret behind the mirror scene has become a matter of curiosity.Alice and Bill Harford's house was originally designed as a replica house. It's a copy of Stanley Kubrick's house in New York. Even in the 1960s, when Stanley Kubrick's wife and Christiane's house resurfaced, even the set pieces were used to reflect Kubrick's house. This copying process, starting from the same thing as the furniture, was soon turned into a more personalized one by Kubrick. In the film, all the tables at home are like Christiane's tables, just like Kubrick's home. The fact that Harford's house has been personally transformed into Kubrick's house keeps the question of whether Kubrick goes out of an autobiographical story all the time. However, Kubrick has also created this personality trait for players. Cruise and Kidman, who are also married in real life, have begun to stay in the bedrooms of Harford, a married couple. They chose the curtains of the double room, where they spent their time, and the spaces in the film were transformed into personal spaces.

Short and Simple Review by WubsTheFadgerThe story is extremely yet elegantly complex and thoughtful. There are numerous scenes that are symbolic and a handful of metaphors throughout the film. The story is deep and deals with the human condition as it relates infidelity. The ending in my eyes did seem a little weak. The acting is very good. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman both do a great job at portraying their respective characters. Tom Cruise plays a vulnerable man who is torn between revenge and doing what is right. The only downside of the acting is that Tom Cruise doesn't play the doctor role very well. He just doesn't look like a doctor. The music is the part of the film. The music perfectly blends with the film giving it a sense of wonder and mystery. The pacing is a little slow and the runtime is overlong. The tone is mysterious, dark, and unsettling. There is an abundant amount of nudity throughout the film. The nudity is there as a symbol. It symbolizes the temptation of infidelity.Pros: Elegant and complex story, well crafted symbols and metaphors, good acting, stunning use of music, storing yet varying tone, and a great use of nudity as a symbol of infidelityCons: Overlong runtime, Tom Cruise as a doctor, some slow pacing, and a weak endingOverall Rating: 8.2
