A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.

Almost TV movie. The wrath of goad in the twister dance. Twisters come and come again until there is no footage. Pretty good special effects and a visit to heaven. Silly but satisfies like godzilla.

If your preference is Natural Disaster films, I could understand why this movie would be amongst your favourites.Into The Storm is what a natural disaster movie generally always is. However, admittedly, there were moments where tension was well executed, and, the visuals were, well above par.Another aspect I appreciated about this movie, was; even though it's equipped with the usual clichés such as a broken family needing to reconnect, it also tried avoiding the Eye of others, especially given how well within the path of that vortex it was.Naturally, it seems, given this genre; There really is no story to speak of. The only story is really, Donnie's brief explanation of why his family is in slight turmoil. However with that said, one has to think much of the director/studio in regards to keeping this film in and around the 90 minute mark.Sadly though, the editing at many points, leaves little to be admired. It leaves you feeling like something is missing from the movie, instead of it expressing the necessity to not have to linger.The score, was enjoyable, but wrong or misplaced in this movie. Brian Tyler is an awesome composer, but this score belonged in a Michael Bay, D.J. Caruso or Peter Berg type of flick.Had Donnie died, it would've been a definite 7/10... It would've been the storm's twist, to the story we always knew it would tell. However though, Donnie didn't die; and as much as I'd love to give this film a 7, 6.7/10 it'll have to be, that I'll round off to a 7 hanging on by a thread, because if Into The Storm was directed by Roland Emmerich, I know it would be a 6 maximum... But probably way worse.

Granted their might be better storm disaster movies out there somewhere but if so I have not seen them, yet. This natural disaster film is about the town of Silverton is in one day destroyed by the unprecedented power of a series of tornadoes. The population is at the mercy of the unpredictable and deadly cyclones, while hunters warn that the worst is yet to come. Most people find shelter, but some just go to the tornado for that one, unique shot. The story I doubt you or anyone else will find interesting if you've seen The Day After Tomorrow or Twister then you have no business watching this cause it's the same damn thing with a generic lead and supporting cast. The film in no way accomplishes any sort of goal it might of had other then of course making the studio a couple of bucks,well here's a bright idea then since the film is directed by Steven Quale and the studio is New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers, which back in 2011 gave me my favorite entire in the final destination series why don't you just make me the amazing sequels I'm waiting for?! Because I'm still waiting! The performances are the worst, and for those of you who don't know Nathan Kress and Jeremy Sumpter are in this flick. Yeah you know that guy from Icarly who has a crush on Carly and Peter Pan. There performances were terrible due to the lousy script there given, I mean I knew they could be bad but I didn't know they would be this bad. The direction is absolute crap this time around, what happened Steven? First you gave me a sequel to a horror franchise I could only hope for but now you just sold out on me man. All of the elements of a good film are never present, and if you just well the special effects were cool, there freaking special effects you don't get invested or have a connection with that stuff. I give Into The Storm a half out of five.

Nevermind the fact this is a movie about storm chasers and there was a similar movie by the name of 'Twister' released nearly twenty years before; this movie goes ahead and beyond with only two vehicles and a few 'adventure' hungry tornado seekers – one of these vehicles is a tank that can root itself to the ground and explore the eye of a tornado, and the other is a reconnaissance vehicle meant to pick up and find storms. Each member of the team serves a specific purpose and without one, the team doesn't function – so what happens when their funding is pulled? Good answer – the leader of the group funds their last endeavor out of pocket – this will be their last trip.Where to go, what to do? This is a movie about tornadoes, so they're heading to tornado country. After narrowly missing one tornado, they head into a town which is quite literally the biggest freak occurrence for tornadoes developing ever. I will not spoil the rest of it here – but people are going to die – but you already knew this.The movie does have a few subplots that develop – they are purely as plot devices; there is no character development here – any gritty development that could occur is quickly marred by what happens in the movie.Should you watch it?
