Strong and Moving!
Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
Movie is excellent but doesn't reach to the level of Satya or a Company which were fantastic because of its pacing and impact which they leave on viewing it all the time...The movie is at par with Ajay Devgns Gangaajal in terms of violence and execution. Acting by all especially Nawaz and Manoj is great but the latter was much better in Satya...Manoj's best film and performance would always be in Satya and no takeaway in case of this flick...Direction and dialogues are soul of the film...The accent and brutality shown is so real that there is no flaw in this aspect at all...Overall, I went gaga over this film when I watched it for the first time and had not seen Satya... Still would say a superb movie which is different from the regular cinema that Bollywood churns our everyday...Highly Recommended!!
It's not made on high budget but the story characters are too addictive. Literally this is best movie in Bollywood made in last 18 years(2018).it has still the same feeling as watching it first time. Anurag Kashyap is currently the best director in Bollywood.
Gangs of Wasseypur is a movie starring Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations. Another Indian film that suffers from the same mistakes that previous similar movies have commited such as slow pacing, bad acting, laughable decisions made by characters and the worst thing of all? A run time that almost reaches 3 hours long and it shouldn't really. This movie was just awful. (0/10)
This movie is a master piece of India Cinema. I have seen this movie at least 5 times now and it get me every time. The originality, dialogues, direction are on spot. The casting selection and the level of acting in benchmark. The movie separates it from other generic gang violence movies. This is a must watch.
