A lot of fun.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
This could have been a "tener" but some easy shortcuts in the story and some not natural acting from some of actors turned the movie down to 8. Naomi is great and shows everyone how acting shall be done.
So Just Recently saw this suspense, Action & Thriller type of a movie!! Thought with a great female actor (From Start To Finish - Glad To See She Finished Her Mission To The End -Thumbs Up Girl!!!!), fast paced action, having you think in places, expecting the unexpected and plot all through was great!! Not Too many Off these types of movies giving or packing a punch in all area's. Kind Of Like A Covert Affairs without the affair.
Entertaining several twists. Female lead is a bit of prodigy like the main character in "Covert Action". Some differences, i.e. is already in field, no mention of personal history on the main character, except that she is depressed by inability to stop a bombing in time, and how she came to be sourced by CIA. Character development could be better. More flashbacks, fleshing out would have been good for identifying with characters. Follow up (what outcome) on some of the supporting cast would be nice as well. I'd like to see this arrangement again though in sequel - think it could do well.
I really enjoyed this action flick. it was a blend of the first Bourne movie and the (Ashley Judd) series Missing. The lead female character (Alice) is quite believable. and she's pretty I hope that there are sequels planned for the future!
