The Parallax Theory

The six-part drama follows Jonathan, a young physicist, who alone holds the knowledge of an imminent cataclysmic meteor strike. As he tirelessly warns the world of impending doom, he is ostracized by those who fear the truth, forcing him to choose between what may be a futile attempt to save humanity, or make a sacrifice for his family.

The Worst Film Ever

If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Well produced. Great and Epic "What if" Story. I do not understand the negative reviews attached on this IMDb page. They are unhelpful and entirely inaccurate. It seems complete insane that anyone can write anything here, often personal and hateful which has no real information to advise the potential viewer.Let me say, this film is in a class of it's own, with the right mix of real character driven plot within an epic notion of impending doom. The production is faultless. The story pace is spot on. The acting is professional and convincing. No. I'm not attached to the film in any way in its creation nor am I a relative of someone involved with the film. I came across it, as we do, and I thought it was an excellent film made on a far lower budget than what all those big block busters cost and yet, the film is on a par.

I thought this video was awesome. The music and cinematography was very well done. I look forward to more full-length productions by Hartman. The fifth episode was my favorite. It was the most exciting and revealing. I would have liked to watch the video in entirety and not by episode as it was released by Vimeo. I hope it comes out on Netflix or HBO. Both actresses were excellent, especially the actress who played the wife. She had such beautiful expressive eyes. I hope to see more of both and more full length videos by Hartman. It moves slow in the beginning, but gets explosive in Episode 5. Congrats to the Cast and Crew of this new digital form film.

Apparently the lead of this show is a you tube star. He should stick to making you tube videos and not acting. He is so bad it's cringe worthy. The girl that plays his wife was pretty bad as well. She was so over dramatic it was terrible. Not trying to be mean but she looks like E.T. Her eyes are so far apart! I have no idea how they got these roles but they are terrible. I really hope that this kid uses some better actors next time and not his friend. Vincent Cyr needs an acting coach or something if he ever plans to act again. The acting takes you so far out of the story which isn't terrible. It's not that original either. I would find something else to watch instead of this thing. I hate to bad mouth things but it was so bad I couldn't help but write about it!!

So, I've been a big fan of Sawyers work for a few years, and I knew that this would be good, but holy crap. This was freaking beautiful! The cinematography was absolutely stunning, with great VFX and insanely talented actors. Vincent Cyr did an amazing job as playing Jonathan, and I'm not just saying that because my name is Jonathan. He has a bright future ahead of him as an actor. He is also a very talented director too, with his YouTube videos. I've heard that Sawyer's next film is an adaptation of his short "Welcome to Tokyo"? I love that short so much. In the end, the Parallax Theory is absolutely stunning, and I am very proud of Sawyer for making his first feature length film!
