Wow! Such a good movie.
Very best movie i ever watch
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
I paid 9.99 to buy it on Amazon prime, boy was that a huge mistake. Worst movie ever DO NOT BUY!!!
The Terminators took a legendary movie (Terminator) and dropped a nuke on it. Every aspect of the movie that could have been written well was not. The story line of the movie had no flow as well as an excess amount of blood splashing around; for example, with one small bullet hole you receive about five gallons of unauthentic appearing blood spraying quite literally everywhere. Looking back on the night I watched this movie, I feel increasingly bitter on why I did not just watch Alien, I had the DVD right there, except I chose to watch The Terminators. Honestly, I could only struggle my way through part of said movie (two-thirds at most) without laughing at the abysmal movie making, fake effects, and awful story line and hitting stop, forever. I have to date watched half of Alien, and it is a wonderful reprieve from The Terminators. Now, back to The Terminators, I would like to be informed of the person who wrote the script, for I would like to give them a piece of my mind. If you are thinking of watching this movie as not to have another boring and movieless night at home, don't, the movieless night is much better.
Well...You always think it can't get any worse, and guess what: "It can!" This movie is trying to piggy-back on the success of Terminator, and of course I expected something similar with equal "quality". No, this is nothing even close to "The Terminator" movies! It sucks, did I say it sucks already? It's a complete and utter waste of your money, and if you like Science Fiction and Robot-based movies even a bit, then please avoid this movie. It's bad acting, bad script, bad special effects (they're not even special), bad everything. Well, at least you've deserved one price: "The price for worst SF movie I've seen so far!". I wonder why people even make these movies! All people that worked on this movie: "Get yourself a job, as you don't belong in movie-world and you're a disgrace to cinematography."
The script for this film is terrible. I had to go back a couple of times to re-watch certain scenes in order to follow the story. One example being the fact the TR-4 "were self-aware", yet the TR-5 model (as portrayed by the Sheriff) were not. In the logic of every Terminator supposedly bettering the previous model that aspect did not make sense. I suppose some of the effects were OK, especially those including multiple instances of the TR-4's. Interesting to note that when it is declared that all major cities in U.S.A. have been completely destroyed they are stated in apparent order of economic importance, with Portland getting the wooden spoon. I find it hard to believe that Miami could be ever destroyed either. Some of the acting is a bit like a 1980's teen-horror with a gang of kids and an adult all running around like headless chickens trying to think of a way to win, and what is with the Sheriff when he witness a nuke hit L.A. OK so he is revealed as a machine but at the time its as if he has just remembered he left the oven on. I suppose the actor who plays the character Chloe did an OK job. The guy portraying the TR-4 was abysmal and in scenes aboard the space station when they have lost all power you can even see him moving in the close ups. Poor, very poor. Furthermore as has already been stated by other reviewers, the guy is totally ripping off Arnie's style in his manner and even his initial move, where he rips the commanders heart out. I suppose that one could be construed as a typical Terminator programmed action...? It could have been better if the sheriff had not been so bad, his character totally lets the film down as does the fact that the military are virtually nowhere to be seen apart from at the end when a small band led by a guy resembling Busta Rhymes suddenly come into it. I doubt i will ever watch this movie again.
