Snatch is not a classic or a block buster movie. But still it is considered as one of the best gangster franchise movies. This movie is directed by Guy Ritchie. Guy Richie is known for his non linear movie editing style as the scenes will not be a sequence but it will be shifting back and forth. This movie is part of his franchise gangster movie called as Rock n rolla, lock stock and barrels. What I Liked in this movie is its narrative style and his engaging dialogues like in martin Scorsese movie. This movie has lot of thumping scenes where we rouse to clap our hands due to its dialogue. Inspite of having complex characterization and scenes in the movie, audience is not confused and they ought to enjoy this movie.Obviously the movie is gross in few scenes one reason being a gangster subject and another one being a gangster movie.I am sure that gangster movie fans will like and love this movie!!!!!

Imagine a gangster movie directed, or at the very least presented, by Quentin Tarantino. Except that it takes place in London and has a healthy heap of Monty Python thrown in the mix. That's basically Snatch in a nutshell. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who's probably most well-known as the director of those Sherlock Homes films starring Robert Downey Jr.But let me tell you, this here is much more his speed, clearly. Snatch is a fast-paced, ever moving pair of intertwining tales. One of them concerning a humongous diamond being smuggled through London and the other about an upcoming underground boxing match. The character cast is sizable to say the least, but each character is such a unique snowflake (in both good and bad) that there's absolutely no fear of getting them mixed up or forgetting about them. The directing and the camerawork have that Ritchie flair to them. You know those fight sequences in Sherlock where Downey Jr. would first visualize what he wanted to do and then went on and did it with the camera flying around looking for the oddest angle possible. Snatch is a lot like that, but toned down just enough that it's more stylistic than annoying. I at least enjoyed it a lot.As for the movie as a whole. It's gory, it's dark, it's goofy, it doesn't take its characters all that seriously, despite some of them quite literally feeding people to pigs, and... it's simply so much fun. A horror roller coaster ride in the best possible meaning of the term. See it and get blasted away.

Turkish (Jason Statham), Tommy (Stephen Graham), Brick Top (Alan Ford), Bullet Tooth Tony (Vinnie Jones), Boris The Blade (Rade Serbedzija), Sol (Lennie James), Vinny (Robbie Gee), Tyrone (Ade), Gorgeous George (Adam Fogerty), Frankie Four Fingers (Benicio del Toro), Cousin Avi Denovitz and the list goes on. If that gaggle of unique character names and cast members does not spark your movie watching interest I don't know what will. These characters are just part of the many great elements that make up the movie "Snatch"; which landed the 100th spot on the "IMDb top 250" movies list. With a plot focused theme, this comedy/thriller takes us on an outing full of hilarious mischief, and it plays off the popular saying "trust no one". Fast paced and full of plot twist, we watch the main character Turkish become involuntarily involved in troublesome predicaments. Turkish and Tommy have their hands full trying to pay off a debt owed to the gangster Brick Top due to a boxing bet gone bad, because Mickey (their unruly prize fighter) not being able to follow directions. At the same time, we have the feud between Boris and Cousin Avi Denovtiz over a diamond heist performed by Frankie Four Fingers whom worked for Avi and was set up to be robbed by Boris. Boris the Blade's reputation for violence requires Avi to hire the hit-man Bullet Tooth Tony to help him retrieve his stolen diamond. Although Avi hired an able body to complete his task, Boris was not so fortunate when he hired the incapable Sol, Vinny and Tyrone to steal the stone from Frankie Four Fingers, and rob the bookies owned by the gangster Brick Top. Brick Top in turn puts on a search to find the 3 who attempted to rob his establishment, and they in turn give Brick Top knowledge of the diamond which he sends them to retrieve to avoid death. Whew! That's a lot going on. So, after many bullets fly, and hysterical interactions take place the movie comes full circle, and we end with the main character/narrator Turkish on top with the diamond, alongside his friend Tommy. "Snatch" is riddled with jump-cuts, witty fast paced dialogue, and subjective camera angles that help the audience stay interested, and feel like part of the film. Every scene plays into the plot, and any unneeded story/scenes are left out of the film. So, it is important for viewers to be attentive while watching the film or you will be sure to miss amusing conversations, and key moments. The angles help you engage in the conversation as they seem to be in first person view and the cut back and forth between the characters. Guy Richie used the same style and plot driven theme in his other film "Locked, Stocked, and Two Smoking Barrels". We also see some of the same actors such as Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones in this film too, but it was missing Brad Pitt who puts on a noteworthy performance as Mickey in "Snatch". Though quite comical Snatch is most certainly an adult film. Although some parts of the movie can be considered grisly, it still manages to put a funny spin on murder, and deception (I know that sounds a little crazy). Between a botched robbery, which included a getaway driver who can barely fit in his own car, Brick Top's passion for pigs, and Bullet Tooth Tony's different but effective way of handling his victims, you will get a fair share of laughing at illegal activities. If you are a person who loves movies that are plot driven, fast paced, and packed with charismatic dialogue be sure to watch "Snatch" when you get a chance. This movie will not disappoint.

Interesting movie about diamond's robbery and all kind of crazy situations after that....Russian Mob,Boxing illegal fights, black market...killers...Gypsies anyway a bunch of grubby gangsters...the movie was shooting so fast moving like a video clip style...weird situations.some really original and others not quite...a really good casting either taking the movie in a very pleasant experience, but there's some weak points indeed like the scene that Turkish throw away the milk box that causing a car accident and subsequent trampling, something like that made some damages in the picture itself... an of course a lack of sex women in the cast, the remaining is fine and funny and totally unexpected.....l really love this one!!
