How sad is this?

Good movie but grossly overrated

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

The GroomsmenGroomsmen seem like a ridiculous wedding custom, but if your bride ever fails to show, there's a good chance you can convince one of them to take your bromance to that next level.Unfortunately for the groom in this comedy, his groomsmen might be absent as well.With a week to go before his wedding to Sue (Brittany Murphy), Paulie (Edward Burns) is advised by his brother/best man, Jimbo (Donal Logue), not to go through with it.Meanwhile, his groomsmen Mike (Jay Mohr) and T.C. (John Leguizamo) attempt to resolve an old dispute over a missing baseball card. Dez (Matthew Lillard), on the other hand, wallows in the group's glory days.More a dramatic dissertation on the difficulties of adulthood than a laugh-out-loud comedy, nonetheless, The Groomsmen is an honest portrayal of friendship.By the way, it's not a romantic gesture to have your fiancée's ex-boyfriends as your groomsmen. And once again, we remember a beautiful talent that adds so much to a powerful storyline, Brittany Murphy, and she will be forever missed.

I didn't see the movie while it's still in the theaters because my friends said that it was a waste of time, money, and everything. So, i took their advice and just watched other movies that was aired on the cinemas that month.Then the other day, I saw the Groomsmen on DVD, and i was so intrigued cuz to why is it the worst movie that my friends claims it to be.I bought the DVD. The minute i bought it, i was so angry at myself cuz i thought i wasted my money on something that really isn't that good to watch. So i flipped the DVD and put it inside my dvdrom, and played it. Then to my surprise, it wasn't that dope, it was great! I just let the movie speak for itself. It didn't bored me to death like my friends said that it would. It has great values to share. Really Great Values..I recommend this movie to be watched from beginning to the end! It's not a waste of time or money. I say, this movie will make your day complete. It's really touching, funny and .... I guess words aren't enough to describe this wonderful movie... So take my word... WATCH IT!

Was the movie good? Not bad. It was good for what it was, a coming of age kind of film for thirty somethings.What it was not, was the advertised content on the DVD sleeve. Quotes from the box: "..a week-long raucous bachelor party filled with laughs at every turn." --- This it was not."Join in the revelry at this wild bunch relives their glory days with hilarious antics that you'll never forget." --- A complete, out and out lie.The DVD sleeve touts this as a laugh filled film full of fun. Its anything but. I chuckled 4 times...maybe 5. It was not hilarious to say the least. It was simply a flick about a guy second guessing his upcoming marriage and his whiner brother and loser friends.Sorry. If you wanna laugh, get a different film.
