Good concept, poorly executed.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

I like Dreya Weber - always been a big fan. She sort of reminds me of a female Steven Seagal (when he is in environmental mode as in Fire Down Below and On Deadly Ground). Naturally though Dreya does not go around knocking people down - she has too much couth for that. Traci Dinwiddie is pretty cool too, even in the thankless role of mentoring two obnoxious teenagers. But as it turns out they are more decent than they like to let on. The story is somewhat flimsy and contrived, but gets the point across. That point of course being that only lesbian true love can save humanity from its nasty and brutish short-sightedness leading to disaster. But fair enough. With this type of movie you pretty well know that going in.

This film is not worth watching.Sorry, Webber ,Tracie Dinwiddie can only be type cast opposite Necar Zadegan. I just felt like the casting was just wrong. Secondly there is not much of a storyline to fall in love with. The love scene was so random not much chemistry between the two protagonists.Chemistry between two people on screen is the essence of a love story. When making a lesbian film please take some notes from Josephine Tengblad producer of Kyss Mig and also Ich will dich these are two brilliantly crafted films.A beautiful love story between two women is all I want to watch and the films just mentioned epitomize beauty.This film did not do anything for me.

Raven is not an amazon women like Tarzan. She's very depressed and feels guilty about a family members death. She goes to the woods where she grew up to get away. Kate is dealing with two teens and we know how that can be. Kate has broken up with her partner and she's wanting what may be the last camping trip she and the kids will have while they're still kids. She needs the family moments. Raven doesn't want to get close to anyone and Kate breaks down the wall a bit with her compassion, which may lead to new beginnings. I won't spoil it for you. Loved the movie! Soul Kiss gives us another winner. Dreya Weber and Traci Dinwiddie are fantastic actors.

I had the great fortune to be there for the world premiere of Raven's Touch at the Laemmle Theater in Los Angeles. I was glued to my seat for the entire length of the film. Traci Dinwiddie, Dreya Weber and David Hayward deliver that WOW experience that I was hoping for. The acting is superb. The storyline is excellent and brought to life from script to screen with great direction and attention to detail from Dreya Weber (who wrote the story & co-directed) and Marina Rice Bader(co-director & producer). The cinematography is second to none, surpassing what I had expected from a limited budgeted film. I believe that Raven's Touch was solely fan base financed. The whole experience of Raven's Touch will leave you both satisfied and wanting more. It is wonderful how Raven's(Dreya Weber) tragic story and Kate's(Traci Dinwiddie) desire for family unity collide into this moving film about discovery, understanding and healing. Do not miss this opportunity to see this film. Another home run from Soul Kiss Films.
