How sad is this?

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Not just funny, very intelligent and thoughtful. Under guises of comedy left to our imagination is everything else. While you are laughing you can't help but reflect, what is it that really matters and can't just disappear in our lives. Flawless writing and performances. It's perfect the way it is, including all the timing of all the elements. It's easy to see if you get it that all the negative reviews stem from the simple fact that the reviewer was unable to grasp all of the elements of the film. This was very refreshing to watch and way above the current on the nose crop of crap out there. Great to see something intelligent after a long while.

Nothing as an idea had huge potential, but the movie just didn't quite pull it off. First of all, there is no reason ever given to why these guys suddenly have this power to wish away everything they hate. Immediately they wish away everything but their house (because they're reclusive agoraphobic nerds) which sort of writes the Writer into a corner. It doesn't take long for the characters to explore nothing and then learn to live in it & enjoy it. Instead the characters could have spent a lot more time in the normal world exercising this new power slowly throughout the movie until maybe toward the end there is Nothing. This would have had a more satisfying storyline as the viewer could sort of feel like they're vicariously vanishing life's problems along with the character, only to learn the moral is that if you don't learn to live with your problems, you'll eventually wish away EVERYTHING....just an idea.

world of nothingness. could be boring. how can interesting event happen without people and everything ? but this movie has music video style directing (which will amuse our eyes) well done script (writer knows right timing when new event should happen, probably he was a very good student in his writing class) and good ending. although this movie has many good qualities... what i thought after watching movie was "hmm, this movie is a little bit boring" and i thought "why this movie is boring ? everything seems perfect". exactly 1 min 22 seconds later... i realized why. this movie lacks funny(interesting) dialogs. i mean, two guys remained in the world of nothingness are in same situation as stand-up comedians. they have to entertain audience without anything. they talk too much because talking is one of things they only can do. sadly, they are just boring, normal people. people who watch this movie may wish that two guys remained in the world of nothingness are jerry seinfeld and george costanza. rather than our neighbor, friend, colleagues, classmate, Andrew and David.

I love this movie. My friend Marcus and I were browsing the local Hastings because we had an urge to rent something we had never seen before and stumbled across this fine film. We had no idea what it was going to be about, but it turned out spectacular. 2 thumbs up. I liked how the film was shot, and the actors were very funny. If you are are looking for a funny movie that also makes you think I highly suggest you quickly run to your local video store and find this movie. I would tell you some of my favorite parts but that might ruin the film for you so I won't. This movie is definitely on my top 10 list of good movies. Do you really think Nothing is bouncy?
