Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
i must have seen a different film!!
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
'Koi mol gaya' is first of its kind movie in Bollywood inspired from Hollywood block buster 'Extra Terrestrial'. Rakesh Roshan has well modified this movie for Indian audiences. The movie can be enjoyed watching with entire family.Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: Hill station where UFO lands, child artists, well paced narration of story (suitable for Indian Audiences), Hrithik in his child avatar everything has been crafted well (4/5).Tone: Rakesh constructs a device that can be used for Alien communication. It becomes reason why he gets killed and his child, Hrithik grows as a retard. When he along with Zinta establish connection again Aliens visit and one of them is left on planet earth. The Alien befriends them all and makes Hrithik well again. I would say the tone is set well (4/5).Goof: The size of Alien changes throughout the movie.Music: Music is very good (4/5).Acting: Rekha, Preity Zinta, Rajat Bedi, Prem Chopra, Mukesh Rishi , Johny Lever everybody along with child artists have acted really well. Hrithik has acted exceptionally well. I find it as his best performance till current date (4.5/5). Half mark extra for Hrithik.Final Verdict: It is worth adding to your DVD collection [(4/5) (9/10)].
This is a movie to watch with the whole family. It has a nice story (even though it's kinda like E.T.), nice music, and great acting. Hrithik Roshan did amazing in this movie. He played the developmentally disabled Rohit very well, and he totally fit the character. He totally deserved all the awards he got for this film, because he did superb. His dancing was also great. Preity Zinta was okay as well, but she didn't do great. The only things that needed work on was the effects, (but you forget about that due to Hrithik's good acting), some clichés and some pretty cheesy scenes (the basketball scenes). But overall, I think that many people will enjoy this movie, and kids as well, because this is a kid friendly movie and it is clean. Out of the entire Krrish series, this one is definitely the best.
Rakesh Roshan after launching Hrithik in KNPH(2000) re-launched him literally with KOI MIL GAYAA 3 years laterThe film seems inspired from ET and reminds us of FOREST GUMP, SPIDERMAN.etc but the film has strong emotional quotient which works in it's favourYou have the 90's type comedians, too much dance, some romance and a lot superficial scenes Yet the first half is full of fun, the scenes where Hrithik are bullied, all the scenes were he is in distress move you Even his scenes with Preity are good while Rekha and he too have several good scenesThe interval point introduces Jadoo here things look too fake compared to ET like him uttering crap Hindi words but you forgive such things in Hindi Movies The film does drag towards the climax and the film is ended too too fastDirection by Rakesh Roshan is the best in dramatics Music is goodHrithik lives his role to the T, in fact for most of the film you forget you're watching Hrithik but Rohit instead He is brilliant in emotions, comedy and everything This film was a turning point in his flagging career Preity too does a decent job, though there are some scenes where she does her usual annoying shouting Amongst kids Hansika is a delight, so is the Jatt guy and the others Johny is funny Mukesh Rishi is alright Prem Chopra hams as usual, Rajiv Verma is as usual too Rajat Bedi is good in his part Rekha excels, Rakesh Roshan is good in a cameo
This movie is a real party killer. I didn't know anything about it more than that it is an Indian sci-fi movie. Since I enjoy Indian movies I thought that I might be worth seeing, so when I had a bunch of friends invited last week we were watching this movie. And it was not a success:This movie is even slower than the average Indian movie. Nothing - that is really nothing - happens the first 90 minutes of the movie. Although the movie is quite cute, its just way too slow. A total party killer. 8 of 10 guests had left within the first third of the movie, which means that I cannot give it a higher rating than 3. And then I've been nice...Tip of the day: try this movie if you have a sleeping disorder. It'll definitely make you fall asleep!
