The Abolitionists takes place during some of the most violent and contentious decades in American history. In the face of personal risks—beating, imprisonment, even death—abolitionists held fast to their cause, laying the civil rights groundwork for the future and raising weighty constitutional and moral questions that are still with us today.

Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
