best movie i've ever seen.
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
This documentary had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The movie begins by introducing Marcell Toing, a world famous Brazilian chef and owner of the restaurant Ratatoing, of which the film is named after. However, this film quickly spirals into a claustrophobic thriller that shows audiences the dark side of the restaurant industry and the dangers of corporate espionage and deception. The film's soundtrack is truly beautiful; it sets the tone for every scene, beginning as an upbeat composition, but it slowly descends into a darker tone. The cinematography was outstanding as well. Every scene used fresh and innovative camera angles that expressed intense emotion in every scene they were used. Overall, this film is a modern masterpiece, and has definitely earned its way into my top 10 films of all time.
This movie was the greatest thing about mankind. I was laughing, afraid, crying, and clapping at the end. That chase between Marcelle and the cat had me biting my nails. People say that it is a rip-off of Ratatouille(The inferior movie), but as I dug deeper Ratatoing came out 2 days before Ratatouille! I don't get how anyone could rate this 1, as everything about this movie is a masterpiece! It certainly shows that these gods of creators spent hours, months, even years planning, animating, editing, and found the best of the best voice actors to play some of my favourite characters! In conclusion, this movie is amazing. I would rate it 100/10 if I could. I recommend it to all families, kids, adults, anyone or thing!
"Ratatoing" is a Brazilian 42-minute animated movie from almost 10 years ago and the makers of it clearly wanted to cash in on the success of Pixar's "Ratatouille" with this one. However, the only thing that really resembles the American movie is the title. Yes there are rats and it's also about restaurants, but other than that the story is completely different. I am not saying this is a good film, not at all, but it's also not a complete mess like some are acting as if it was. The weakest aspect is maybe the animation. I must admit that this looks like some fan-made movie with a graphics program and this is certainly a massive flaw. But there are good aspects as well, such as the voice acting. i saw the original is in Portuguese and I cannot refer to that one, but the English dubbed version is really not that bad. Still, all in all, I have to give it a negative verdict. The characters are simply not interesting enough and yeah, the animation is pretty horrible. Not recommended.
I'm just gonna make this short and sweet: This is the most awful film EVER made! And no, I cannot emphasize that ENOUGH! The script is awful, you can tell that they are trying to sound smart to impress their audiences, those audiences being people that had their brains replaced with cheese. But to normal people, it just sounds retarded. The acting is horrible, there is little to no plot, and OH MY GOD!!!! THE ANIMATION!!!!! As a animator in training, I know the difference between good and bad animation, and this is defiantly the lowest common denominator. I don't even KNOW how to do CGI animation and I can probably make this in an hour with nothing but a cardboard box and a paperclip!!!!! It truly is THAT bad! For the sake of yourself DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!! My Rating: -84/10 ******BOMB!*******
