Good movie but grossly overrated

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

To be honest, this movie deserves an F grade. The acting is so hokey pokey, and what makes it even worse is Dee Wallace. First of all, she knows goddamn well that the acting she did was so out of line. She probably felt embarrassed and felt bad for the other actors that they had to be in such garbage. Second of all, how can you survive a pitchfork to the stomach and multiple stabbings. Is the Dad a wizard, no. He is a normal human being like everyone else. Third, they tried to hide the fact that Lilith's home was in a neighborhood with a palm tree, not only that, the transitions were horrible, and you can clearly see there are multiple cars parked in front of the property when they head for the car. So obvious. The ending is terrible as well.

This movie is a waste of time, unless you have time to waste. The plot of the movie seemed good but once those D- list actors started talking, it all went down from there. The movie needed a bigger budget and better actors. We watched this on TV thinking it was the "other" Hansel & Gretel but nope we were fooled! I wonder why Netflix even has this poor movie for people to see. I'm not sure what else I can say about this movie. Maybe if your looking for some laughs and some funny memories with friends then watch it. Half the time we were laughing at the actors and how stupid they were. If you have the decency to even watch it till the end like we did you can see the stupidity of the writer. Just validated what a joke this film was!!

What a waste of an hour and a half of my life! I'm not sure what's worse: the script, the direction, or the editing! The story jumps about as if there are bits missing from it, and there are dozens of plot-holes and so many "that would never happen in real life" incidents that the film becomes painful to watch. I couldn't even bear to watch it in one go, I had to turn it off after less than an hour and then I watched the rest later on. I only got this film/movie by mistake because I actually wanted to see a different film with a very similar title, but this film looks and feels like it was made by a group of high school students, not a team of professional film makers!

This movie is nothing but a poor attempt at doing anything for the viewer. Why the f is it that every time a blockbuster is released, a sh*tty B or C movie is made just to feed of the success of the said blockbuster. If the actors in this movie thought that it was a good idea to participate in this sh*tstorm of a project they thought wrong, But don't give up. there are plenty of really good scripts out there, Get a new agent and quit joining sh*t projects, The movie makers of this flick on the other hand; I have no respect for you guys, The acting is bad, the cinematography is bad, the concept is already taken by Tommy Wirkola, the storyline in bogus and the special fx is not special at all. It looks like the whole movie was made by preschool kid with no hair on his genitalia.
