It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This movie felt more like a 90's direct-to-video action movie than most actual 90's direct-to-video action movies. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing.Getting it out of the way -- this movie is dopey. Very, very dopey. But who cares? The action is solid, the score and music is good, the villain is creepy and intense, and Dean Cain delivers a solid performance as the hero turned anti-hero. Felt like a spiritual sequel to 'Death Warrant' with Van Damme set in modern day.The duo of directors seem to primarily work in the horror genre, and it shows. They seemed to shoehorn in a lot of blatant gore that, in many places, felt very unnecessary and out of place for the genre. It didn't hurt the film, but just didn't feel 100% right for the tone. Other than that, the film was well directed and looked much "bigger" than the small budget I assume they had.Overall, 'Vendetta' is a well-done, fun little action flick. Check it out.

I haven't watched pro/fake wrestling since I was a child, so this movie was blah at best. It was completely unbelievable in almost every aspect.I must say that Dean Cain actually did a good job acting though. Too bad there was nothing else worthy. This review requires no spoiler alert because you already know everything that is going to happen :] If you like to make a drinking game out of scrutinizing movies for their errors, make sure you have plenty to drink! But watch out because there are actually some very gory scenes for a B action movie.I did give it a 5 because it was kind of entertaining - I didn't feel the need to stop watching. To sum it up... If you really like WWE you will really like this. You'll probably like it if your IQ is below 100 as well.

I've not seen any of the WWE Studios films, so I don't know how much of an impact WWE has have on the film and creative license, but, I'm sure there is some. The casting and acting was great. Dean Cain was really believable. Michael Eklund as Warden Snyder really irritated the hell out of me but that's how the warden was supposed to be portrayed, so job well done.Some of the dialogue was a little too proper but the fighting scenes were well choreographed. The soundtrack was almost non-stop and silence would have helped built up tension and or shock in some of the scenes.It wasn't a perfect flick which, IMO, would have been too boring and forgettable, maybe even cliché, but, gave it a modern day "grind house" feel to the picture. I would really like to see The Soska Twins do a b/w film noir piece.

This was a great movie by the WWE!!! I wasn't expecting much it was quite a surprise. I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes prison based movies. The Big Show did an excellent job portraying a bad guy. Dean Cain is always a good actor. Thank you guys for not letting me down. Dean Cain character went to the extreme to exact his revenge by going to prison to get it. When I first seen the front cover for the movie I thought Big Show was gonna be the good guy, but I was wrong. Can' t wanted t for my boyfriend to watch it. It is most definitely worth buying. There was plenty of action, and it kept me watching and waiting what to happen next.
